George W. Kirchner Award
Physical Education teacher for 45 years at Elizabethtown School District, Jane Hoover coached the girls tennis team to 196 wins and 11 county championships.
Hoover also coached the girls field hockey team to a record of 299-52. The field hockey team won 16 section championships, seven county championships, one District 3 title and in 1974 a state championship.
She was the first woman recipient of the George Kirchner Memorial Award.
